We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:
- Account data: email address, hashed password, account preferences, chosen 2FA settings
- Usage data: API requests, rental history, dashboard sessions, IP address, user agent
- SMS content: the text of SMS messages received on your rented numbers, retained temporarily for you to access
- Communication: messages you send to our support team
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Service (number allocation, OTP delivery, account management)
- To communicate with you about support and product updates
- To detect, prevent and respond to abuse, fraud and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
- To improve the Service through anonymous, aggregated analytics
4. Data We Do NOT Sell
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share SMS content with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party except as strictly required to operate the Service (e.g. our carrier partners routing the SMS to you) or as required by law.
5. SMS Content Retention
SMS content received on your rented numbers is retained only as long as necessary for you to access it — typically 24 hours after the rental expires — and then permanently deleted from active systems. Backups are rotated on a 30-day cycle.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security controls:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest for sensitive data
- Hashed and salted passwords
- Isolated per-tenant data stores
- 2FA available on all customer accounts
- Continuous monitoring for abuse and unauthorized access
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Export a copy of your data
- Object to certain processing
